  1. 0:45 my heart almost stop when he purposely drop the dslr

  2. It won't 'break a knife blade', it will just potentially get you stabbed instead of just your camera being stolen…

And, of course, the tripod mount is designed to support the weight of the camera suspended. With a big lens, while you're running around. I'm guessing that the manufacturers put the strap attachment points where they are for a reason.

  4. Mark/Adorama, I'd be interested in seeing an update to this one.

  5. The biggest problem with all of these camera straps is the fact that the d ring that attaches to your camera is not tripod compatible. When I do travel photography I shoot both landscapes on a tripod and people when I'm milling about which means switching the tripod plate with the d ring over and over again.

  7. We recently launched our new photography product on Kickstarter.  Here is a link to the 30-day campaign page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1436033315/dixie-grip-rotating-handheld-or-mounted-hotshoe-gr

We designed it to replace the common umbrella bracket, ground stand typically included with speed lights, and of course to be handheld.  Be sure to check out the entire page, there are videos from a couple of other photographers that tested it and a video that goes over the functions of the product.

Would you be interested in writing about the product on your website?

  8. I've been using Black Rapid strap for 2 yrs plus. I will say it is good and easy to carry around. Even when I let my camera hang on the sling, the camera doesn't block my body just like neck strap does. BUT the problem I'm facing is, maybe due to the design of the Black Rapid which turns the camera upside down when it is being sling, the weight of my flash with Gary Fong collapsible makes my camera hotshoe loose. I have to go back to Canon to tighten it. Happened to me once, when on an event, I can't use my flash due to this issue. So, which camera strap is best for my situation? Thank you, Sir.

  9. Someone to ask? Pls?

  10. I can't find any sun-sniper steel model with hook and D-ring in the Adorama.com, even in the sun-sniper website!!! Where I would find this model??? Send me a link, please!

  11. Hi! I can't find Sun Sniper Steel with hook and D-ring… Wich model is?

  12. Personally, I would rather have the knive cut the strap then me. It probably provides more piece of mind than actual safety.

  13. Lol, that first contraption is so sexy looking. Goofy! As a dslr novice with a 70D, I think I can trust this standard Canon strap.

The cotton carrier is good for hiking. Like your hydrating back pack tightly secured on your body so does the cotton were it should not swing out.

  16. I have the Carry Speed Slim and the only two gripes I have about it is when mounted to my manfrotto tripod in portrait mode the base plate isn't secure enough to hold up my camera when using the 24-105 lens, will tend to dip down. The other isn't really a bad thing but there are those times when I wish that the ball head had a quick release mechanism so that I can dis-attach the strap from one camera and quickly attach another.

I use the BlackRapid RS SPORT 2 strap and im so satisfied with it!

  18. I have had 2 Carry Speed slings. The first one had a plastic piece that broke within months of use. It was warrantied replaced and the replacement model now had a metal plate. However…the plate will not stay screwed on securely to the camera. It constantly comes loose. My camera store is going to replace it (again!), this time with the Black Rapid strap. Hoping this one works as I love the sling design!!

  19. I have the CarrySpeed and it's ok. I have 3 complains; 1 is the bracket that attaches to the bottum of the camera. It get's interferes with how you grip the camera. 2. too many parts to keep track of, i lost the L wrench and can't find a replacement that properly fits it. 3 after a year of use, the rubber gasket has worn out. Overall I like the product, feel and all, but it has it's issues. I recently purchased the SunSniper…let's see how it holds up.

  20. Not sure about hanging 10,000 off these?
